Some politicians seem determined to demonstrate beyond any doubt that they are indeed stupid, unable to string together coherent thoughts and so far out of their depth as to be drowning in the turgid waters of ignorance.
George Mammoliti is a perfect example. The pea brained city councillor said Thursday the city should call in the army to help combat gang violence. How? Mammoliti has no idea. He doesn't want their tanks or guns and he doesn't want soldiers on street corners but he wants the army to bring "the resources and the tools that the army has at their fingertips to be able to resolve the problem immediately, so the army is a good way to do that."
I swear to God that's what he said .
This bizarre statement and position is par for the course for Mammoliti. When they handed out brains he thought they said canes and said he didn't need any. God, unfortunately, complied. This brainless twit costs taxpayers almost $250,000 every year. Is there recall action pending? There ought to be.

You left out the most important part.
That is that this guy is a leftist LIBERAL and that the LIberal Party of Canada under Paul Martin wanted to use an attack ad against Harper saying Harper wanted "Soldiers with Guns, in our cities".
IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THE LIBERALS ARE THE PEOPLE WHO WANT THE ARMY IN THE CITIES.
