How did a nice guy like this ever get saddled with the likes of Randy Hillier and Frank Klees, to name only two?
How did an intelligent guy like this get saddled with promises to fund private schools while cutting taxes and promising to do more for public education?
How did a guy like this end up calling a press conference on community safety in Thorncliffe Park in Toronto and one cop, one black guy, 4 white guys and a lonely camera guy are the only ones who show up. No press, no electronic guys, no photo op, and enough embarrassment to last three campaigns.
And if that ain't bad enough, they're running an ad - an AD - in the Kingston Whig Standard asking anyone who's interested in running for the Tories to contact the local party - seems there ain't nobody nowhere gonna run for the Tories in Kingston. Now there's an omen you want to embrace! How embarrassing is that? John, you just gotta dig into that family pot and come up with enough bucks to get someone - anyone - to run for you.
And what about a platform? John, come out from behind your desk. We need to know about your platform John. John? Earth to John - we feel your pain, boy, but you still need a platform.
Maybe Kathleen Wynne has a chance after all?

Hey, this is the guy who approved the negative ad about Chretiens face (paralysis) so what do you expect from him?
Kathleen Wynne's a real winnner. Tory's not going to know what him come election day. Even his parents donation megabucks to Sunnybrook Hospital won't buy him enough votes to win this riding.
