What makes me really grumpy today ...

The Iodomo summer safari commercials. The dork in the beard has to have the worst voice anywhere on the tube. I’m looking for a leather sofa right now – and although Idomo was on my list of stores, it ain’t no more. The possibility I might run into this twit settled that issue really quickly. Likewise, I’ve never gone to Bad Boy – it was bad enough we had Lastman as a mayor for a gazillion years. Lesson – never let an egocentric owner or manager do their own commercials. If your name isn’t Honest Ed, stay off the tube.

Margaret Wente. How do you spell dumb, ignorant and without a clue? Wente. If I was a Globe reporter I’d bring it up as a union issue – on strike until Wente is dumped. What an embarrassment.

The young morons driving around with their rap crap booming and thudding out their car windows. I could care less if they are going to be deaf by the time they’re in their 40s. They deserve it. But the rest of us don’t. How come the cops don’t hand out tickets – there is a noise bylaw isn’t there? So when will they enforce it?

Cell phone show offs. I don’t mind people taking calls in public as long as they keep their conversation to themselves. But you know the ones I mean. The decibel level goes up 6 degrees and their vacuous comments pound the ears of all around them. Why is it they don’t understand that with every comment they sound even more stupid than they are? Which is why they do it to begin with, I guess. Clueless in coolness.

Barry Bonds. Anything Barry Bonds. What a miserable human being. As far as I'm concerned Hank Aaron owns the home run record at 755 and will until A-Rod passes him about 5 years from now. Bonds? Hopefully this is his last season and we never have to think about him again.

There. We got through a whole blog without once mentioning a politician. Dorks all.
