The Grump is heading out on holidays, and damn well about time. Time to get away from all the political crap, cosy up to a nice fishing hole and live as the good Lord intended.
For the next couple of weeks I don't intend to lift anthing heavier than a beer or a book. I'm going to fish, play poker with my pards periodically and mostly just take it slow and easy.
I hope you all have a great time. I hope all the politicians continue to politic, in the forlorn hope that by the time I get back they might have it out of their system. With an election coming in October, though, I think the buggers are just getting started.
Well, we'll deal with them when we return. See you in late August or early September.
